Professor Stanley Fahn is the Movement Disorders Division chief at Columbia University Medical Center, and scientific director of the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. He was the founder of the Movement Disorder Society and of the journal Movement Disorders. Professor Fahn has twice served as chairman of the Advisory Committee on Peripheral and Central Nervous System Drugs for the Food and Drug Administration.

Professor Karl Kieburtz is a professor in the Departments of Neurology, Environmental Medicine and Community and Preventive Medicine, and is the director of the Center for Human Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He has served as the chair of the Parkinson Study Group Executive Committee, and as the chair of the FDA Peripheral and Central Nervous System Advisory Committee.

Professor Peter LeWitt directs the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Program at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield, Michigan and is professor of neurology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. In addition to extensive experience in conducting clinical trials for Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders, his research interests have included pre-clinical models and biomarkers of neurological disease, pharmacokinetic analysis of neurological drugs, and gene therapy. He is editor-in-chief of Clinical Neuropharmacology and has served on the editorial boards of Movement Disorders, Journal of Neural Transmission, Journal of Parkinson’s Disease and Translational Neurodegeneration.

Professor John Nutt is cofounder and director of the Oregon Health & Sciences University Parkinson Center of Oregon (PCO) and Movement Disorders Program, and codirector of the Portland VAMC Parkinson's Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center. He is widely recognized for his work on the pharmacokinetics of L-DOPA and he is a leader in testing many novel therapeutics for Parkinson's disease.

Professor C. Warren Olanow is chairman emeritus of the Department of Neurology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He was a founding member and served on the initial Executive Committee of the Parkinson Study Group. Professor Olanow was the editor in chief of the journal Movement Disorders, and he has led more than 20 NIH, industry, and foundation-supported multi-site projects in neurodegenerative diseases.

Professor Fabrizio Stocchi is a professor of neurology in the Department of Neurooncology at the University of Chieti (G. d'Annunzio University) and director of the research center for Parkinson's disease and movement disorders at IRCCS San Raffaele in Rome. He is also a consultant to the Institute for Parkinson's Disease Research in Vicenza.
